About Me

An internship with the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2008 resulted in my dream job and the kick-start to my career in public relations and marketing. Over the past 10 years I have represented New Orleans' tourism industry during Super Bowl XLVII, served as the PR Liaison for the 2013 NCAA Women's Final Four and assisted with a city-wide PR team following the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.  I have experience in various industries and multiple states. From hospitality to healthcare, I’ve practiced public relations from the Arizona desert to the beaches of San Diego and now coastal North Carolina. Through it all, I’ve never forgotten my New Orleans roots.  At Sand & Cypress I believe in understanding my clients' goals while working together to tell their stories strategically through various marketing channels – social media, traditional public relations and advertising, events and more. The places I've experienced and the people I've met have helped me grow both personally and professionally. Sand & Cypress symbolizes my journey and allows me to do what I love most – tell inspiring stories of individuals and business owners who are making a difference in the communities we serve.
